Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Hornsea Leisure Park in a varied and hands-on role covering grounds maintenance, gardening, general park upkeep and holiday home siting support.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly, family-run holiday park in a beautiful coastal location. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining high park standards and delivering a welcoming environment for holiday home owners and guests.
The role involves both independent and team-based work and no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, strimming and general grounds maintenance
- Hedge cutting, planting, watering and seasonal gardening duties
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across the holiday park
- Assisting with caravan siting operations
- Levelling, positioning and securing holiday homes
- General repairs, maintenance and upkeep around the park
- Supporting the wider maintenance and operations team when required
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Using and maintaining tools, machinery and equipment correctly
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
- Be hardworking, practical and physically fit
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Have experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping or general maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Have good DIY and practical skills
- Be confident using garden machinery and hand tools
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in maintaining high standards across the park
- Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred)
Experience with caravan siting, groundcare machinery or towing would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
