Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a background in synthetic turf, Astro Turf, or sports pitch maintenance? Do you take pride in ensuring sports surfaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained? Our client is seeking a dedicated Astro Turf Maintenance Operative to join their team and maintain synthetic sports surfaces across multiple sites in the North East of Scotland.

About the Role:
As an Astro Turf Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep, cleaning, and minor repair of synthetic sports surfaces across a portfolio of pitches. You will manage your own schedule, ensuring each pitch is maintained to a high standard using company-provided equipment, including a van, trailer, and specialist brushes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain 16-18 Astro Turf, 3G, 4G, and synthetic sports pitches.
• Plan and follow a regular pitch maintenance schedule.
• Carry out grooming, brushing, and cleaning of synthetic turf surfaces.
• Use specialist power brushes, drag mats, and synthetic turf maintenance equipment.
• Check and top up sand or rubber infill levels where required.
• Remove debris, litter, leaves, moss, and surface contamination.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Previous experience maintaining Astro Turf, 3G, 4G, artificial turf, or synthetic sports surfaces (2 Years)
• Willingness to travel between sites across the North East of Scotland.
• Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a PVG/DBS check and safeguarding references.
Desirable -
• Experience with regular trailer use.
• Experience operating tractors or compact machinery.
