ROLE OVERVIEW
Planet Turf Ltd is seeking a motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join
their dedicated team. This role involves the upkeep and care of outdoor spaces,
ensuring that gardens, parks, and other green areas are maintained to the
highest standards. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing
the visual appeal and functionality of various landscapes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out routine grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, hedge
trimming, and pruning.
- Maintaining flower beds, planting, and general garden upkeep.
- Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment safely and
efficiently.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the team in delivering high-quality landscaping and maintenance
services.
- Reporting any issues or damages observed during maintenance work.
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is desirable but
not essential; full training can be provided.
- A keen interest in outdoor work and maintaining green spaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices related to grounds
maintenance.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
