Our client, a leading commercial horticulture contractor, is seeking dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects, ensuring high standards of maintenance and landscaping.

Our client is a trusted and highly experienced commercial horticulture contractor, delivering a wide range of landscaping, grounds maintenance, and sports turf services. They pride themselves on their quality of work, care, consistency, and professionalism. With extensive resources, they manage large-scale projects across the region, from maintaining London's highway network to delivering intricate landscaping schemes.
About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining school grounds. You will either work on borders or be part of the grass-cutting team, travelling to various sites. This role requires a DBS check and offers the opportunity to work out of the Hertford yard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance school grounds, ensuring high standards.
• Operate machinery for grass cutting and border maintenance.
• Travel to various sites as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Ability to travel to various sites.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
Desirable:
• Spraying certificate.
• Experience working in a school environment.
• Knowledge of sports turf maintenance.
