Full-Time Maintenance and Grounds Person

We are looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking person to join our team as a full-time Maintenance and Grounds Person.
This is a varied, hands-on role helping to maintain our holiday accommodation, touring site, grounds and facilities to a high standard. No two days will be the same, and the successful applicant must be willing to turn their hand to a wide range of practical and general site duties.
Main Duties
- General maintenance and repairs across the site and holiday accommodation
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and general grounds maintenance
- Maintaining outdoor areas, paths, fences and facilities
- Carrying out basic plumbing, joinery, decorating and repair work
- Preparing accommodation and pitches for arriving guests
- General daily site duties, including emptying bins, splitting and delivering logs, keeping communal areas tidy and helping with practical jobs around the site
- Responding to urgent repairs when required
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods
- Ensuring the site is kept safe, tidy and presentable at all times
Hours and Pay
Monday to Friday: 9am–5pm
Saturday: 9am–2pm
This is a full-time position of 45 paid hours per week, including paid lunch breaks.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Approximately £31,000 gross per year
The role includes 28 days’ paid holiday per year.
Some flexibility may occasionally be required during busy periods.
About You
The ideal applicant will:
- Have previous experience in maintenance, grounds work, farming, construction or a similar practical role
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Have good practical and problem-solving skills
- Be willing to carry out a wide variety of daily site tasks
- Take pride in completing work to a high standard
Pay: Up to £31,000.00 per year
