Agripower Ltd is growing, and we are looking to recruit 3-5 experienced operators to join our team. We work across natural sports turf construction and renovation, land drainage, water engineering and landscaping, delivering specialist projects throughout the South.

The role -

This is a hands-on position for someone who is just as comfortable getting out of the cab and mucking in with the wider team as they are operating machinery.

You will be based from our yard in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, travelling to sites across the South. Some projects may require staying away from home, so flexibility is important.

You will be working on a range of specialist projects and operating modern plant and equipment to a high standard, safely and productively.

What you'll be doing -

Operating machinery safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Working from plans and carrying out a variety of site tasks
Using modern plant and specialist equipment across different project types
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and wear part changes where required
Working independently when needed and as part of a wider site team
Following instructions from the Contracts Manager
Complying fully with company Health & Safety procedures

What we're looking for -

We want reliable, capable operators who take pride in their work and bring the right attitude to site every day.

You should have -

Ideally 3+ years' on-site experience
Experience operating plant such as dozers, excavators, tractors, trenchers or drainage machinery
CPCS and/or NPORS cards
A proven track record in a similar role
The ability to read and work from plans
A strong work ethic and willingness to support the wider team
Good awareness of Health & Safety
The flexibility to travel and stay away when required

Highly desirable:

Machine control dozer experience
Experience using optical and GPS control systems
Experience working on sports turf or sports field projects

Working hours -

Summer site hours are typically 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, so you will need to be comfortable with travel and longer days when project demands require it.

Pay -

This is a PAYE position, with pay based on your experience level:

£13.00 - £15.00 per hour - lower experience
£15.00 - £17.00 per hour - mid-level experience
£17.00 - £20.00 per hour - highly experienced operators
