Mark Walker (Grounds Maintenance) has opportunities for grounds maintenance operatives to join our team of skilled gardeners working in Lewes and surrounding areas. This role would suit someone who wishes to further their horticultural knowledge, or someone with an interest in gardening and the desire to work outside.
You will be caring for a variety of sites in the local area, from residential properties to NHS hospitals, to prestigious commercial offices. Your duties will include grass cutting, strimming, leaf clearance, general maintenance to shrub beds, and winter gritting.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate should ideally have the following:
· 1 or more years’ experience in horticulture or an interest in gardening.
· Full clean driving licence (essential)
· Knowledge of pedestrian & ride on lawn mowers and handheld machinery
· Be able to work as part of a team or on their own.
· Good plant knowledge

Salary: Starting at £12.50 per hour plus benefits including:
28 Days annual holiday including Bank holidays plus overtime when available.
