We specialise in all aspects of landscape maintenance, grass cutting, weed control, sports ground maintenance and line marking for schools, sports clubs and more in the Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare, Clevedon and surrounding areas.

The job:
We are looking for a ground's maintenance operative / grounds person. Full time, or part time (lots of options of hours available).
You will work:
- Full time, 39 hours per week starting at 7am, plus overtime.
- The hours increase to 40 hours in the summer time, plus overtime
- Part time hours available
- Part of a small team carrying out ground's maintenance tasks on commercial sites around Bristol, Weston, Clevedon, Bath and the surrounding areas.
- Our main yard is based in Bedminster.
You will be carrying out the following tasks:
- Grounds maintenance tasks
- Strimming
- Using blowers
- Hedge cutting
- Lawn mowing (scags, standers, ride on mowers and more)
- Pruning
- Marking out sports pitches (push and ride on markers)
- Using a tractor (if qualified)
- Weed spraying (if qualified)

The candidate should have the following:
- Positive attitude

- Honest and hard working
- Strong communication and organisational skills and able to work in a team and by yourself.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Previous Grounds Maintenance or Sports Ground Maintenance experience (minimum of 1 year) essential.
- Tractor and gang mower driving and line marking experience would be an advantage.
- NPTC qualifications would be an advantage
- Qualification in Horticulture would be an advantage
Successful candidates will be subject to full Enhanced DBS check, if the candidate is offered a position this will be subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, safe guarding policy and references.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
