Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Base location:
Just outside Diss (covering Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex)
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outdoor spaces for our commercial clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining large grounds using tractors, ride-on and pedestrian mowers, and brush cutters
- Maintaining hedges and shrubs using hedge cutters
- Cutting large hedges using tractors with flail arm and scissor arm attachments
- Marking sports pitches using a GPS robotic line marker
- Working safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards at all times
What We’re Looking For (Essential)
This role is not entry-level. Experience and professionalism are a must.
You must:
- Have previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role
- Have a genuine passion for working outdoors in all weathers
- Be physically fit and capable of manual work
- Be a reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Take pride in your work and care about doing the job properly
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Be confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence (minimum 3 years)
- Be polite, professional, and able to communicate confidently with clients and colleagues
- Be willing to adhere strictly to company standards, health & safety procedures, and quality expectations
Desirable (Training Provided Where Needed)
Experience in the grounds maintenance industry is essential. The following are desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate:
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Ride-on mower operation
- Tractor operations
- Towing experience
- Chainsaw certification

- Undergo an enhanced DBS (police) check
- Have the right to work in the UK
- References will be requested from current or previous employers
