About Our Client:
Our client is a renowned Golf Club Operator known for their exceptional service and commitment to providing top-tier golfing experiences. They are currently undergoing a major reinvestment project to enhance their golf course and clubhouse, with future plans to make the site accessible to everyone.
About the Role:
As the Golf Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sales, increasing memberships, and ensuring the highest standards of service for members and guests. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is eager to contribute to the club's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance overall sales through strategic planning and innovative marketing.
- Develop attractive membership packages and engage with the local community to increase memberships.
- Optimize green fee pricing and promote buggy rentals to maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with societies and corporate clients to secure bookings and events.
- Organise and oversee social events to enrich the member experience and attract new patrons.
- Manage the golf shop, ensuring a wide range of products and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
Essential -
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the golf industry.
- Strong track record of driving sales and growing memberships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Willingness to work during peak periods, weekends, and unsociable hours.
- Experience in staff management and development.
- Familiarity with golf course maintenance and operations.
- Knowledge of golf retail management.
