Contract Manager – Grounds Maintenance (North West)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established grounds maintenance contractor for an experienced Contract Manager to cover the North West of England and North Wales, with a main depot based near Wigan
This is a key operational role, responsible for managing teams, budgets, and service delivery across a portfolio of commercial grounds maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and motivating static and mobile grounds maintenance teams
- Full responsibility for contract performance and budgets
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Recruitment of permanent staff
- Health & safety leadership and compliance
- Planning rotas, resources, and work schedules
- Producing regular performance and financial reports
About You:
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager within grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Strong horticultural and operational knowledge
- Confident managing people, performance, and budgets
- Proactive, organised, and client-focused
- IT-literate (Microsoft Office / Google systems)
