Role PurposeWe are recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to deliver a wide range of outdoor maintenance tasks, ensuring sites remain safe, clean, and well presented throughout the year.
Key ResponsibilitiesGrass cutting, strimming, edging, and hedge trimming
Litter picking, leaf clearance, and general site tidiness
Shrub, hedge, and flowerbed maintenance
Weed control using manual or chemical methods (subject to qualifications)
Assisting with the use of grounds maintenance machinery and tools
Following daily work schedules and meeting performance targets
Supporting seasonal duties such as planting and winter gritting
Adhering to health & safety procedures and wearing PPE at all times
Essential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor labour roles
Ability to use common grounds equipment (strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters)
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
DesirableLANTRA or NVQ qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance
PA1 / PA6 spraying certification
Experience operating ride-on mowers
