Position: Key Account Manager / Contract Manager – Grounds Maintenance & Arboriculture
Location: Thame, Oxford
Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time | Office-based with travel

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established grounds maintenance and arboriculture services provider. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Key Account Manager to join their team.

Their services cover all aspects of tree work, including tree surveys, stump grinding, site clearance, fencing, tree planting, and more. About the Role:
As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and develop existing client accounts, ensuring strong communication between clients and operations. This role involves account management, estimating, site visits, contract negotiation, and commercial growth. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure services are delivered in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts- Build long-term relationships with key clients
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and service requests
- Attend site visits to assess requirements and scope works
- Prepare written estimates and price works where required
- Negotiate contracts, renewals, and pricing agreements
Requirements:
Essential: - Proven experience in facilities management, property management, grounds maintenance, or arboriculture
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate contracts and pricing
- Experience attending site visits and preparing estimates
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable: - Arboricultural knowledge
- Tree inspection qualification or similar arboriculture certification
- Previous experience managing service contracts within grounds maintenance or facilities management
