The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support our field-based operatives across London (North West & East).
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of weed control and grounds maintenance who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of work, and supporting the development of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Grounds Maintenance Operatives across multiple client sites
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and routes
- Ensure all weed control activities are carried out safely and in line with regulations
- Carry out herbicide applications when required
- Monitor work quality and ensure company standards are consistently met
- Provide on-site training, guidance, and performance feedback to operatives
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and chemical usage
- Liaise with clients and represent the company professionally
- Ensure compliance with health & safety policies at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance and/or amenity weed control
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of herbicide application techniques and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
Licence/Certification (Required)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- PA1 – Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides
- PA6 – Application of Pesticides using Handheld Equipment
- PA2 – Application of Pesticides Using Boom Sprayers
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
