Branchwalkers Tree Surgery is looking for a qualified Arborist/Tree Surgeon to join the team in a role with a clear route towards Team Leader/Lead Climber level. This position has been created as part of the company's succession planning, so it offers a genuine chance to move up the ladder quickly.
Branchwalkers works across the South East on a mix of commercial, domestic, rail and utility contracts. With over 10 years of industry experience and Safe Contractor Approved status, they have built a strong reputation for high standards, reliability and quality workmanship.
The role
You'll join the team as a qualified climber, supporting the Team Leader/Main Climber on a range of tree surgery and vegetation management works. This role would suit someone who is already confident in climbing and now wants to progress towards a more senior position.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out climbing arborist duties safely and efficiently
- Assisting the Team Leader/Main Climber on site
- Pruning, dismantling and tree removal works
- Working on jobs near rail, utility, commercial and other key infrastructure
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining tools, equipment and high working standards
What we're looking for
- Qualified climber - CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39
- Full UK driving licence
- Someone keen to progress towards Team Leader/Lead Climber level
- Utility, rail or commercial arboriculture experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
- UA units and PTS desirable
- Strong approach to health and safety
- Reliable, hardworking and a good team player
