Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Workers
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Pay: £13.26 per hour
Contract: Fixed-term until 9th October 2026
About the Role:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Workers to join our team in Sheffield. These are full-time roles working across a variety of outdoor environments including parks, green spaces, and countryside areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
- General maintenance of parks and public spaces
- Planting, weeding, and upkeep of flower beds and landscaped areas
- Litter picking and ensuring outdoor areas are clean and presentable
- Supporting countryside maintenance tasks such as path clearance and basic fencing repairs
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Some previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
