About the role:
As an experienced climbing arborist, you will perform all tasks related to tree surgery, including pruning, sectional felling, and climbing. You will lead a team, ensuring the setup of the work site and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all tree surgery tasks, including climbing, pruning, and sectional felling.
• Lead a team and ensure the setup of the work site.
• Conduct on-site risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and vehicles in good working order.
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs on time.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in arboriculture/tree surgery.
• Certificates CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39.
• Full UK driving license.
• Positive attitude and team spirit.
• Reliability and commitment.
• Great attention to detail.
Desirable -
• CSCS card, MEWP, first aid, safe use of woodchippers, safe use of stump grinders.
• Experience in mentoring junior members.
