Our client, a reputable organisation dedicated to maintaining school grounds, is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their team in Hounslow and the surrounding areas.

From care homes and street tree planting to highways and infrastructure schemes, they combine expertise and resources to deliver projects to the highest standards. They also provide sports turf maintenance services to clubs, institutions, schools, and colleges. With specialist equipment and expertise, our client undertakes a broad range of services to ensure playing surfaces are professionally renovated and maintained to an exceptional standard.
About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep of school grounds, ensuring they are tidy, safe, and visually appealing. You will use various tools and equipment to perform tasks such as hedge trimming, grass cutting, and general landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks including hedge trimming, grass cutting, and strimming.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Drive to various school locations within Hounslow and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and school staff.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
• Proficiency in using hedge cutters, strimmers, and mowers.
• Full clean UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Desirable -
• Experience working on school grounds.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in grounds maintenance.
• Good communication skills.
