They are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their dedicated team.

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetics and health of various grounds. You will be responsible for operating tractors, ride-on mowers, and other turf machinery, ensuring the highest standards of grounds presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mowing, pruning, weeding, strimming, and other general grounds maintenance duties.
• Conduct routine and seasonal grounds maintenance renovations.
• Utilise a variety of petrol and electric grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
• Implement safe working practices and conduct visual risk assessments.
• Work flexibly across various sites, adapting to seasonal and weather changes.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Basic Literacy & Numeric skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to operate ride-on mowers and turf machinery.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
• NVQ in Horticulture (Sportsturf, Landscape, or Amenity) or equivalent qualification.
