Lynx Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team maintaining parks, green spaces and public areas across the Wyre Forest district.

## The Role
Working as part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you'll help maintain parks, open spaces, sports pitches and landscaped areas to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Strimming and edging
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Weeding and planting
- Litter picking and emptying bins
- Assisting with sports pitch marking
- Carrying out site inspections
- Completing daily vehicle, machinery and equipment safety checks
- Recording completed work using manual or electronic systems
- Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures
## Working Hours
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:00pm
Occasional weekend working may be required
## What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticultural experience
Experience using
strimmers and
pedestrian mowers
Full UK Driving Licence
Good understanding of Health & Safety
Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather
Reliable with a positive attitude and able to work well within a team
Desirable:
Experience operating
ride-on mowers
NVQ in Amenity Horticulture or a similar land-based qualification
