Our clients are a multi-award winning garden design and build company based in Clerkenwell. We are recruiting for a Gardener/Horticulturist to join our small aftercare and planting team who exclusively look after the gardens that we have built and planted. This role will require working on a range of sites from roof gardens to urban courtyards. As one of their horticulturist, you will ensure high quality finishes and sustainable and pro-active gardening in the gardens that we create. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team with excellent opportunities for growth and participation in special projects such as the Chelsea Flower Show.Candidate requirementsRight to live and work in the UKPrevious experience 2-3 years+ in horticultureExcellent knowledge of plant establishment and maintenance including pruning and pest control.A passion for learning planting design principlesOrganised and pro-active with good timekeepingFirst class customer service skillsBe competent at administrative tasks associated with the role including taking images, updating the garden log.Great communicator who confidently speak to clients and the teamUK driving license essentialExcellent spoken and written EnglishHave a recognised Horticultural qualification and ideally PA1/PA6a, CSCS Card however training will be given in some areas.
