Our client is seeking a motivated Graduate Consultant to join their technical team and support a wide range of sports surface and facility projects across the UK and internationally.

Our client is a leading consultancy specialising in sports surfaces and facilities. They provide expert advice and support to a diverse range of projects, from community sports facilities to elite professional sports venues. Their team is dedicated to delivering high-quality consultancy services and fostering the professional growth of their staff.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Consultant, you will support the delivery of specialist consultancy services. This role offers a blend of site-based technical work and desk-based analysis, providing a comprehensive learning experience. You will be involved in assessing sports facilities, conducting performance testing, collecting and analysing data, and preparing technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake site visits and technical assessments at sports facilities.
• Conduct sports surface performance testing using specialist equipment.
• Assist with site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
• Collect, review, and analyse technical information and site data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Sportsturf/Turfgrass Science, Plant or Soil Science, Physical Geography, Sports Surface Management, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and undertake site-based work.
• Competence in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
• Practical experience in grounds management, greenkeeping, or sports turf maintenance.
• Experience working within a professional, educational, or community sports environment.
• Knowledge of sports surface construction, drainage, or irrigation.
