Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our Grounds Maintenance team across London. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence, experience in operating an array of grounds maintenance machinery, and be well versed in Housing Association contract standards of work.
This role requires a versatile person who enjoys a variable work schedule and is happy to drive, and work, anywhere within London. The successful candidate would not have a set round allocated to them, their main task will be assisting the teams with any missed visits, holiday cover, sickness cover etc. They will also pick up all extra quoted works and assist in rectifying any inbound complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the supervisor in picking up any missed cyclical visits.
- Undertaking an array of additional quoted works.
- Providing holiday and sickness cover for operatives with cyclical rounds.
- Supporting the core rounds where required on larger sites/bigger jobs.
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance is mandatory.
- Full UK driving license holder.
- Versatile "can do" attitude with a willingness to undertake an array of tasks across London.
- Happy and capable working as part of a team, and lone working.
The successful applicant will be issued with a van to use to commute from home to & around sites. Advertised location of Croydon is indicative and not mandatory as travel across London is essential for this role.

Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour
