Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing team, maintaining communal outdoor areas across residential blocks. This role is for an immediate start.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a company that values high standards and getting the job done properly.
Duties
- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining flower beds using hand tools and power tools
- Assisting with planting, fertilising, and pruning to promote healthy growth
- Maintaining pathways, lawns, and other landscape features to ensure safety and visual appeal
- Using gardening equipment such as spades, rakes, shears, and leaf blowers to perform routine tasks
- Supporting larger landscape projects, including installation of new features or plantings
- Ensuring all grounds are kept clean, tidy, and free from debris
- Assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance or snow removal as required
Qualifications
- Experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Growing experience or background in horticulture is advantageous
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance best practices and safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred but not essential

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
