Job Overview
The MEN-SEC Group Ltd is seeking a dependable and hard-working Clearance & Ground Maintenance Operative to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves carrying out internal and external property clearances, basic maintenance, and grounds upkeep across residential and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct full internal clearances, including removal of household items, debris, and waste from inside properties
- Perform external clearances such as garden waste removal, fly-tip collection, and disposal of general rubbish from outdoor areas
- Carry out basic ground maintenance tasks including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, weeding, and litter picking
- Load and unload waste materials and equipment safely from company vehicles
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures while on site
- Ensure properties and grounds are left clean, tidy, and secure after completion of works
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles to a high standard
Requirements
- Previous experience in property clearance, waste removal, or grounds maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Practical, physically fit, and able to carry out manual labour
- Comfortable working in varied environments, including potentially challenging or cluttered properties
- Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (accommodation and expenses covered)
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
- Able to pass the company’s security screening process
