Our client is recruiting a Soft Landscaping Team Leader to deliver projects across London and national sites, combining practical landscaping expertise with clear direction for crews of one to five operatives.

About the Role:
As a Soft Landscaping Team Leader, you will organise daily site activity, work alongside your crew and keep delivery moving safely and efficiently. You will balance practical work with supervision, logistics and client communication, ensuring each site meets the required specification and standard of finish. This Soft Landscaping Team Leader role suits someone who takes pride in both the finished landscape and how their team works together.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and motivate crews of one to five operatives, allocating tasks and keeping work on schedule and to specification.
• Carry out and oversee planting, turfing, soil preparation, seeding and general site finishing.
• Drive company vans between project sites, safely transporting colleagues, tools and equipment.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and site management, providing updates and resolving day-to-day site queries.
• Check workmanship throughout delivery and address defects before handover.
• Maintain safe working practices, look after equipment and encourage a positive, productive team culture.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven professional soft landscaping experience, with specialist practical knowledge.
• Previous experience as a Soft Landscaping Team Leader, landscaping foreman or supervisor managing small crews.
• A full clean UK driving licence and confidence driving vans to and around project sites.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• A hardworking, dependable and professional approach, with a commitment to the team.
• Confidence representing the company professionally with clients and site contacts.
Desirable -
• Immediate availability.
• Experience across commercial developments, hotel landscaping or sports installations.
• Experience coordinating tools, materials and daily site logistics.
